Dalton Dynamoes J.A.F.C Supports The FA’s Behaviour Improvement Strategy

At Dalton Dynamoes J.A.F.C, we welcome and fully support The FA’s recently launched Behaviour Improvement Strategy, introduced on 2nd September 2024.   This nationwide initiative is designed to raise standards across grassroots football by tackling poor conduct and ensuring the game is played in the right spirit.  Respect and sportsmanship have always been central to our club’s values, and this strategy reflects those same principles.

Key Aims of the Strategy

The FA’s plan focuses on creating a safer, more respectful environment for everyone involved in the game. Some of the measures include:

  • Stronger Sanctions – Tougher consequences for those who commit physical or verbal abuse, helping to deter unacceptable behaviour.

  • Protecting Referees – Additional support and initiatives to safeguard referees, encourage respect, and improve retention in the game.

  • Simplified Reporting – A clearer process for clubs to report incidents, making it easier to respond quickly and effectively.

What It Means for Our Club

At Dalton Dynamoes, our goal has always been to provide a positive and inclusive environment where players, volunteers, coaches, referees, and supporters all feel welcome.   The FA’s strategy strengthens our ability to uphold these standards and ensure football at our club is enjoyable for everyone.

By supporting this initiative, we are reinforcing our commitment to respect, integrity, and fair play. We want every member of our community to enjoy football without fear of abuse, intimidation, or misconduct.

Standing Together for Respect

We invite all players, coaches, parents, and supporters at Dalton Dynamoes to stand with us in supporting this important campaign.

By working together, we can help ensure football continues to be a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive sport that brings people together both on and off the pitch.
